Plenty of room for the servos
When joining the three sections of each wing, 40mm of dihedral was
required.
Rather than packing the wing tips with odd bits I made a couple of
accurate spacers to go under each wing.
You can also see the separate servos and
the made up paper tubes to feed the servo leads down after covering.
I wanted to keep the exhaust inside the cowl and exit from the bottom of the
engine bay,
so I ordered a 90 degree adaptor from Just Engines.
The throttle pushrod is also a bit circuitous but seems
to work OK.
To ensure that the fuel tubes don't come off the tank I've soldered copper rings (from bell wire) around the tubes
You can see
it's all a bit tight but I got it all in there and now the rings hold the tubes
once they are pushed on
I’ve used Slec ribbed snakes supported through the Fuse, instead of the suggested balsa and wire pushrods, that was probably the
original system.
It is now starting to look like an SE5A,but still a fair way to go
